How to upload marketplace-specific images in a native language on Amazon
Note: This feature is available only to brand-registered sellers. Previously, uploading images in one marketplace would automatically apply the images across all connected marketplaces. Now, you can upload country-specific images in the local language.
Step 1:
Open Seller Central and go to the Manage Inventory section. Click on Upload Images.
Step 2:
Click Upload here to begin the image upload process.
Step 3:
Gather all images (both main and variant images) you want to upload for the ASIN(s).
Each image file should follow the format: ASIN + variant code + file extension
Example: B000123456.MAIN.jpg
Accepted formats: JPG (preferred), TIF, or GIF.
If uploading multiple images, place them in a ZIP file.
Ensure the ZIP file name doesn’t contain emojis or non-ASCII characters.
Step 4:
In the Upload Images tool, select the country for the specific marketplace from the dropdown menu.
Upload the prepared ZIP file. Click Submit Images to complete the upload.
Tips and best practices
Full image set: Always include a complete set of images (main + variants) when uploading for a specific marketplace, even if some images have already been submitted globally.
Monitor upload status: After submission, you can check the status of your images in the status report.
