How to create Sponsored Brands Video ads campaign
Sponsored video ads are a great way to capture the attention of Amazon shoppers. This guide will walk you through the process of creating an Amazon Sponsored Brand Video campaign.
Step 1: Confirm your ad meets Amazon video requirements
Before creating your ad, ensure it meets Amazon’s video guidelines. If your video doesn’t adhere to these specifications, Amazon may reject your ad, requiring additional edits.
Amazon Sponsored Brand Video Specs:
File format: MP4 or MOV
Video duration: Between 6 and 30 seconds
File size: 500MB or less
Resolution: 3840 x 2160 px, 1920 x 1080 px, or 1280 x 720 px
Aspect ratio: 16:9
Minimum audio bitrate: 96KBPS
Double-check these specs to save time and ensure your video gets approved on the first submission.
Step 2: Create your video ad on Amazon
Once your video meets Amazon’s requirements, follow these steps to create your Sponsored Brand Video ad:
Log in to your Seller Central account.
Navigate to the Advertising tab and click on Campaign Manager.
Click Create Campaign, then select the Sponsored Brands Video option.
Choose the product you want to advertise by selecting it from the New Product List Page.
Click Add to upload your video file. You can preview your video in the product panel on the right.
Select keywords and choose a bidding structure for your campaign.
Finally, submit your ad for Amazon’s review.
Amazon usually reviews video ads within 10 minutes to a few hours. If your ad is approved, great! If not, move on to the next step.
Step 3: Resolve Amazon ad rejections
If Amazon rejects your video ad, it may be due to a violation of their policies.
Best practices for Amazon Brand Video ads:
Educate, inform, and demonstrate: Your video should clearly showcase your product’s benefits, educating and informing your audience while highlighting key features.
Tell a story: A compelling story keeps viewers engaged. Focus on demonstrating how your product solves a problem or enhances the customer experience.
Review your video content for these elements before submitting your ad again to avoid further delays.
